We charge a GAP fee which varies according to the type and duration of your appointment. Our specialists set their own fee schedule and it is advisable to discuss the same prior to making your booking. The gap fee is charged IN ADDITION to the Medicare rebate that the government provides. it means that you will be charged a total of the GAP fee and the relevant Medicare rebate for your appointment. We will submit this electronically and the Medicare rebate will be automatically credited to your account linked with Medicare services. This will be instantaneous in most cases but may require visit to your local Centrelink office if you are not registered with Medicare.

The Fee must be paid in full on the day of service. We only accept EFTPOS,Visa and MasterCard.

We encourage you to please register for the Medicare Safety net as a family or couple on www.humanservices.gov.au/customer/dhs/medicare. It is a government funded scheme where individuals are automatically registered but couples and families need to actively register.

The Medicare Safety Net entails that the Government will meet 80 percent ($80 out of every $100 paid in GAP fee) of GAP fee for all medical services delivered out of hospital (not just at the clinic). Medicare keeps track of your GAP payments and starts playing after the individual or couple or family have reached a certain amount of out of pocket expenses in GAP fee. Medicare safety net thresholds can be found at www.humanservices.gov.au/customer/dhs/medicare.

This means that ongoing treatment can be provided at a substantially reduced out of pocket fee after the Medicare safety net threshold is reached.

The fee for Independent Medical Examination (IME) reports vary according to the nature of the case and preparation time required. Please contact the centre to discuss your individual needs.
